Version: 1.0
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE BRIIDGE PLATFORM.
1.1. The Provider: This platform ("Briidge") is operated by Briidge Solutions Limited ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
Company Number: 16270980
Registered Office: Unit 14 Hoddesdon Enterprise Centre, Pindar Road, Hoddesdon, United Kingdom, EN11 0FJ.

1.2. The Service: Briidge is a digital fact-finding and property technology platform designed to help you ("the User" or "Client") securely collate, verify, and transmit your personal and financial information to your designated Mortgage Broker or Financial Adviser ("your Broker").
1.3. Acceptance: By creating an account or accessing Briidge, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2.1. Technology Provider Only: Briidge is a software provider. We provide the digital "vault" and secure data transmission tools. We do not provide mortgage, financial, legal, or investment advice.
2.2. No Fiduciary Duty: Nothing in this platform constitutes a recommendation or endorsement of any specific mortgage product, lender, or course of action.
Your Broker is solely responsible for assessing your needs and providing regulated advice based on the data you enter here.
Briidge accepts no liability for the suitability of any mortgage or financial product you secure through your Broker.
2.3. Accuracy of Data: You acknowledge that any advice you receive from your Broker relies on the accuracy of the information you enter into Briidge. We do not verify the truthfulness of your data entry; we simply secure it.
2.4. User Obligations: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as requested by the Service. You agree not to misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or entity, including using another person's username, password or other account information, or another person's name, likeness, voice, image or photograph. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the data you provide.
3.1. Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials (including any Multi-Factor Authentication codes) confidential. You must not share your secure link or password with anyone.
3.2. Unauthorised Access: If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, you must notify us immediately at support@briidge.co.uk.
4.1. License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Briidge solely for the purpose of facilitating your property or mortgage transaction.
4.2. Restrictions: You must not:
Use the platform for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or exploit any part of the Briidge source code or design.
Introduce viruses, trojans, or other malicious material.
5.1. Our Role: Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR):
Your Broker is generally the Data Controller (they decide why your data is collected).
Briidge is the Data Processor (we store and handle the data on their instruction).
5.2. Privacy Policy: Our collection and use of your personal information are governed by our [Privacy Policy], which forms part of these Terms.
5.3. Soft Credit Checks: By using the "Credit Retrieval" features (if enabled by your Broker), you consent to Briidge facilitating a "Soft Search" on your credit file. This search allows your Broker to view your credit history but does not affect your credit score.
6.1. Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the Briidge platform (including the interface, code, logos, and "Intelligent Fact-Find" logic) are owned by Briidge Solutions Limited.
6.2. Your Data: You retain all ownership rights to the personal data you upload. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, encrypt, and process this data for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your Broker.
7.1. Quotes and Estimates: The platform may generate instant quotes for third-party services relevant to your transaction (e.g., Conveyancing, Property Searches, Indemnity Insurance). These quotes are estimates based on the data you provide.
7.2. Referral Transparency: If you choose to instruct a third-party service provider through Briidge (e.g., a Conveyancer):
You are entering into a direct contract with that Third Party, not with Briidge.
Briidge may receive a platform fee or commission from the Third Party for facilitating the technical instruction. This does not affect the price you pay, which is displayed to you transparently before you proceed.
8.1. Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or for fraud.
8.2. Service "As Is": Briidge is provided on an "as is" basis. While we use bank-grade security and aim for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8.3. Liability Cap: To the extent permitted by law, Briidge Solutions Limited shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit or opportunity) arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall be limited to £100.
9.1. We may suspend or terminate your access to Briidge immediately if you breach these Terms or if requested to do so by your Broker (the Data Controller).
10.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
